We have been renting with ShBarcelona for a couple of years now and it has been a great experience. First of all, the house itself is great, very well equipped and perfectly located. The agency takes care of everything as there is a dedicated helpline 24hrs for any emergencies with electricity, plumbing etc. Secondly the process of finding the house from their website and signing the contract is a really easy and simple process. It is extremely reliable. Lastly, the support all the time from their agents is exceptional, particularly Patricia who has been the most helpful!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking

My experience with this agency is excellent. My hospital recommend it telling me it's a very serious and honest agency for temporary stays during my treatment. I went to their web page that it's very organized to search for the type of apartment one likes,I saw the apartment that I liked. I booked it. The owner accepted my profile . I made the booking payment and now I made the rest of the payment . So it's already done, just waiting for the signing of the contract, the apartment is very luminous and cozy, very happy with the experience,all done very fast,kind and efficient. I had the unfortunate experience of renting an apartment through SH Barcelona during my stay in Barcelona, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare.
Where do I even begin?
1) The apartment had a lot of maintenance issues, including a sewage smell in the bathroom, malfunctioning stoves, and a faulty main door that locked us in once.
2) Communication with the agency was horrible. Days would pass before I received a reply to my texts or emails, leaving me in a constant state of frustration and uncertainty.
3) They also demanded a large deposit and high agency fees, then took 2.5 months to return the deposit, even deducting unwarranted charges.
Overall, save yourself the trouble and avoid this agency at all costs, especially if you don't speak Spanish or have the patience to chase them for what's rightfully yours.

My experience with Sh Barcelona in general, and Marc Bernat in particular, has been outstanding! I could not think of a better person for managing an apartment in Barcelona, especially when you are abroad and have limited time. He makes complicated aspects of being an owner abroad, easy. With always an effective problem-solving attitude, Marc has always been highly professional in managing the apartment, notably when there have been problems, finding and recommending at all moment the best possible solution. Reliable and effective, Marc has managed to build a truly trusted relationship with me and I can only highly recommend him.
